Designscape privacy notice
Review draft dated September 5, 2026. Live customer checkout remains disabled.
This notice describes the website and homeowner portal operated by Designscape, 9984 Scripps Ranch Blvd. #182, San Diego, CA 92131. Contact support@designscape.com or (619) 356-1235 with privacy questions or requests.
Information used for your project
We collect contact and account details you provide, your project address, preferences, selected services, questionnaire answers, approvals, messages, and uploaded photographs or documents. We also obtain available aerial imagery, property records, and location information to research the property. Please avoid uploading identification documents, financial account information, or unrelated private information, and only share materials you are entitled to provide.
Order and acceptance records include the selected scope, prices, agreement version, acceptance time, and payment references. Stripe handles payment-card entry; our checkout does not ask you to send card numbers in project messages. Hosting and authentication services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, session identifiers, and security or error logs.
How we use information
We use this information to manage your account and order, understand your preferences, research and prepare designs, check and correct deliverables, provide support, record approvals and payments, and protect the service. AI tools may process relevant project information when preparing or reviewing designs. AI output can be inaccurate and does not independently verify site conditions.
Service providers and sharing
We use service providers to operate our website and customer portal, process payments, communicate with you, store project information, research property conditions, and prepare designs and drawings, including through AI-assisted tools.
Depending on the service, these providers receive relevant contact and account details, property information, uploaded files, or project preferences. Payment details are not included in design-generation prompts.
Optional voice or avatar functions may require additional providers and browser permissions. Prerecorded videos do not require microphone access. Before an interactive recording or transcription feature is enabled, we will explain the information it collects and obtain any required permission. Do not provide sensitive personal information to an avatar.
We obtain your approval before sharing your contact details with a contractor for an introduction. Agreeing to design services does not authorize public advertising using your name, home, images, or plans. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to investigate fraud or protect legal rights, subject to applicable law.
Cookies and browser controls
The website and portal use session and authentication mechanisms to keep you signed in and support checkout. Blocking these mechanisms can prevent those functions from working. Embedded or linked third-party services have their own privacy practices. The current application does not implement a response to the browser Do Not Track header. That header is different from privacy choices or opt-out rights that may apply under law.
Storage and portal availability
The included 60-day portal access period begins after delivery of the complete final package. Portal access ending is not the same as deleting every business record. Order, consent, payment, project, support, and security records may need to be retained for service obligations, accounting, disputes, or legal requirements. Service-provider backups may follow separate retention schedules.
Before customer launch: the retention schedule, deletion process, provider settings, and any analytics or advertising tools must be checked and finalized. This draft does not promise a specific deletion date or make unverified claims about a provider's use of data for model training.
Your requests and choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting support. We will verify requests as appropriate, explain any limits such as legally required retention, and respond according to applicable law. You can decline optional contractor introductions, public marketing use, and optional voice permissions. Download your released plan files while portal access is available; an optional membership is not required to keep using your downloaded plans under your agreement.
Children and changes to this notice
The service is intended for adult homeowners. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate. We will identify the effective date of the final notice and describe material updates here; where required, we will notify you or seek consent before a new use of information.
